In this age of social media where friendships are often virtual, anyone can post anything about themselves but oftentimes we encounter people who lack “authenticity.” This means that genuineness has become truly rare to find and when we begin trusting people who we discover later on to be disingenuous, our expectations and trust are shattered, and we get hurt.

How about looking into your own heart. Are you authentic? Authenticity is a human quality deeply rooted in your self-awareness and vulnerability. It is the ability to live in harmony with your true self and surely it is essential for achieving your personal fulfillment and creating genuine relationships. Are you self-aware to understand your strengths and weaknesses enough to trust someone or connect with someone on a deeper level? Can you self-reflect and take responsibility for your own actions and not constantly blaming others? Can you express your whole self with others and keep your promises?

In this issue, we have amazing submissions full of wisdom from women of all walks of life on their take about “authenticity.” We are so thankful that on our 11th year of publication online, Angel Rising Magazine is now read in 28 countries and growing worldwide.
